Society is a weird place. We are full of patriarchy and sexism. So much so, that after a certain age, the heroines lose their shelf lives and the younger actresses have to be cast opposite to heroes.

Can you imagine a 50+ heroine playing a lead opposite a 30 something hero in a big commercial film? People will call it insane. Poor Madhuri Dixit who had to settle as the mother of Varun Dhawan in Kalank!

But that’s not an issue for our male actors! Here’s a list of 8 films in which the heroines should have been the hero’s daughter instead of their love interest. Please note: The age listed below are on the basis of when film was released or is expected to release.

Was there anything more awkward in this badly made film than the potential father-daughter duo Akshay and Kaira dancing and romancing on ‘Diladu Tenu Burj Khalifa’?

Here it is more like a potential Grand father-Grand daughter duo! Rajni Sir is mighty but we can only feel bad for Amy!

If you want to laugh out at the insanity and ridiculousness, tune into the ‘Seeti Maar’ song of Radhe. You can see Salman Bhai barely able to move his body while Disha Patani using her all possible young energy to save the song.

Jab Harry Met Sejal

We have always loved SRK! But, in this one, Anushka and SRK looked so awkward together. A role that was clearly written for a younger actor: Ranbir or Ranveer, was given to SRK because of his star power.

Atrangi Re

We can’t even imagine…!!! There better be some strong reason for such a casting! Waiting for 2022 for Atrangi Re to release.

Baby ko Bass Pasand Hai aur uske saath hi uncle ji bhi pasand hain !

Housefull 4

Housefull 4 had all types of nonsensical comedy that covered the lack of chemistry between this potential father-daughter duo!

What are some of the films you feel can be added to the list? Let me know. Meanwhile….
